SM INTERNATIONAL BELIEVES

     The Bible to be the infallible Word of God, that it is His Holy and inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority.  In one God, eternally existing in three persons–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary.  He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate.  That all people everywhere are lost and face the Judgement of God, and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross.  That Christ rose from the dead and is coming back to earth once the Church reaches all people groups ( “ethnos=nations ), with the Gospel.  Matthew 24:14  In our holy Christian living we are to walk as Jesus did ( I John 2:6 ), showing love in both the “spiritual and physical” needs of the World.  We must dedicate ourselves anew to the service of our Lord and to His authority over our lives.  In using every modern means of communication available to us to spread the Gospel of the Jesus Christ, our goal is to Finish the UnFinished Task of World Evangelization.  To this end we at SM Intl. “Go Out” where there has not been laid the foundation of Christ. 

 Japan is the largest UnReached Peoples group in the World.  Over 1,823 cities have “NO CHURCH at all.”  Every month nearly 4,000 people in Japan commit suicide.  Everyday, even on Sundays over 86,000 people die and are lost eternally bound for Hell, for there was “NO Hope In Christ to be Heard.”  Our goal is to establish at least one “LIghthouse, or Church in every city that has not one at all.  By sending teams out we have helped the Japanese Church to establish themselves.  Jesus calls us to Get the Job done.  We at SM believe that all of the World-wide Church is to be involved in Missions.  We are either a “Goer” or a Sender” ( Romans 10:12-15, Luke !0:2).

 We also believe that “true religion is to help widows and orphans.”  We are also active in helping train the orphans of Burma (Myanmar) to go out to the borders of burma and China to plant house churches. Due to the recent tsunami we are making headway in providing shoes and other survival needs for those whose needs are so great. Many of our missions supporters have aided financially to help meet this need.

 Since the Bible tells us that Christ will return to a new earth, “what kind of people ought you to be?  You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and “SPEED its Coming”  Peter 3:11, 12  We at SM Intl. desire to help God’s people to Go Out and help “Hasten” the return of Christ in this Generation.
