Heaven or Hell – Which Do You Choose?
SMI – 1/9/2011 – www.sm-intl.org
Excuse me…
May I ask you a question? If you died tonight, are you certain you would enter Heaven?
Which would you like togo to – Heaven or Hell?
(If you died to night and you met God at the door of Heaven, and He asked, “Whyshould I let you into Heaven?”, how would you answer?)
Are you a good person?
Let’s take a million dollar quiz…
God’s Ten Commandments – Have you ever heard of them?
The ninth commandment – “Thou shall not lie” Have you ever lied before? What do you call someone who lies? A liar.
The eighth commandment – “Thou shall not steal” Have you ever stolen before? What do you call someone who steals? A thief.
The fifth commandment – We are to honor our father and mother. Have you always obeyed your parents’ commands? What do you call someone who isdisobedient? A teenager… 🙂
You have admitted that you are a liar, a thief, and disobedient. Do you think you cantake your sin into Heaven?
Would you, tonight, allow a robber to come into your house? Do you think it is pure in Heaven, or that sin is allowed? Of course it is pure inHeaven, and no sin can be allowed into Heaven.
When we break God’s commands, our heart becomes sinful and guilty. At that time, ourrelationship with God is separated. How can we restore or heal that relationship? Allsin deserves punishment, and Jesus died for all of our sins on the cross. He paid thepenalty for our sin. Instead of us being punished for our sin, He took it on himself.People say there are many roads to Heaven, but there is only one door that leadsthere, and Jesus holds the key. So you must know the truth. Jesus is the only way foreternal life. So ask Jesus to come into your heart. On the judgement day, we will allmeet God, and you are guilty. Do you want eternal life in Heaven or in Hell? Do youwant to be healed?
Now, let’s pray and ask Jesus to forgive us and give us eternal life in Heaven. Pray along with me.
